What is an Organization Hierarchy (Sub-Org)?
An Organization Hierarchy, also known as a sub-org, is a helpful tool for larger districts to efficiently manage schools and user access. By grouping schools into smaller sets, sub-orgs simplify reporting and ensure that users only see data for campuses they need to access.
How Does It Work?
- Sub-orgs allow districts to group campuses together for reporting purposes.
- User access can be customized and limited so certain individuals can only view reporting data for specific schools, rather than all campuses—like a district manager typically would.
Assigning Users to a Sub-Org
You can assign one or multiple individuals to a sub-org to:
- Give them full access to all associated campuses and reporting data within that sub-org.
- Limit access to ensure users only view the campuses they are responsible for—preventing unauthorized access.
